The Power has decided to call it quits from his glittering career on the oche at the end of 2024.

His final event is set to be the World Seniors Championship at the Circus Tavern.

When questioned about his post-darts career and if he would head into punditry the 63-year-old ruled out the commentary box.

Taylor told the Weekly Dartcast: “I won’t be working with Sky, I don’t think.

“I will be working with the Seniors, that’s my plan for next year, be like their ambassador.”

Taylor has also been linked to appearing on I’m A Celebrity and the darts sensation did not opt against the jungle out when asked about it.

He continued: “We’ll see happens, I’m not holding my breath. We’ll see what happens and what the offer is or whatever.

“It’s a plus and a minus with I’m A Celebrity. You’re life’s dragged through everything.

“Whether it’s worth it, I don’t know. We’ll sit down and talk about it if I get invited. It’s all ifs and buts at the moment.”

The Brit initially walked away from darts in 2018 after making the final at the PDC World Championship.

But he is set to enter his final tournament as the number three seed in the World Seniors Championship campaign against Manfred Bilderl on Friday night.
