Luke Littler says there ‘could have been two Littlers’ after Premier League win but brother quit darts to work in pub

LUKE LITTLER has revealed there “could have been two Littlers” after winning the Premier League.

The wonderkid became the tournament’s youngest-ever winner on Thursday night aged just 17.

He sealed the title in stunning fashion as the Nuke hit a nine-darter in his 11-7 victory over Luke Humphries at the O2 Arena.

Littler’s latest triumph sees him scoop another £275,000 in prize money following his success on the ProTour and EuroTour in 2024.

However, he has now explained it could have been double trouble on the oche.

During his press conference after the final, Littler was asked about playing darts during Covid.

The 17-year-old answered: “That’s what really did it for me: Covid. I was non-stop on the board.

“My older brother, he stopped playing darts. If he had continued to practise, maybe there would have been two Littlers – but there is only one!”

His older brother Leon revealed earlier this year he had quit darts to become a barman.

However, the 20-year-old remains supportive of his younger sibling along with the rest of their family.

Leon cheered on Littler from a pub in Warrington during his run to the PDC World Darts Championship.

Littler even bought a dartboard for his nephew George after Leon became a dad last year.

Said to have been the better player, Leon has spoken highly of his younger brother.

During his stunning run at Alexandra Palace over Christmas, Leon explained how the fame would not go to the Nuke’s head.

He said: “Nothing’s changed Luke and I know nothing ever will. He’s very down to earth, and keeps his feet on the ground.

“He’s still the caring and devoted brother who grew up with me.”

Inside Littler’s massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has since joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

The wonderkid has now cemented his place among the tungsten elite by winning the Premier League Darts final – and the £275k top prize.
