The right-back made 36 appearances and scored just one goal – a winner against QPR which gave Ferguson his first victory as United boss.

The Red Devils had played 213 minutes of football under Fergie without scoring a goal before Sivabeck curled in a free-kick at Old Trafford.

Sivabeck, 61, also had spells at Monaco, Pescara and Danish side Vejle, where he made 296 appearances.

The defender won 87 caps for Denmark and was part of the team that claimed victory in the European Championship in 1992.

He retired in 1997 and became a football agent with Proactive Scandinavia.

Sivabeck founded his own football agency company in 2017 – Sivabeck Sports Agency.

They represent many Danish players as well as Plymouth star Mustapha Bundu.

Reflecting on his memorable United goal, Sivabeck said: “I’m very proud of that – the only goal I scored for United. It is part of history.
