Crowd gasp at World Snooker Championship star’s act of ‘disgust’ as BBC commentator says ‘I cannot believe that’

SNOOKER star Robert Milkins was so fuming after missing a pot he threw his cue on the floor.

Milkins was trailing to 7-4 to David Gilbert when he failed to pot and then acted out in frustration.

The Crucible crowd gasped before commentator Rob Walker said: “Throws the cue in disgust.”

Co-commentator Mark Allen added: “I cannot believe that! I cannot believe that.”

The pair were playing in the last 16 for their place in the quarters-finals.

A day earlier, their match was interrupted after a disrupting FROG noise played out from the crowd.

The two found themselves in an intense back-and-forth resulting in Gilbert being left with a long pot on a red into the corner pocket.

Things got incredibly tensed at the Crucible as Gilbert got into position on the cue ball.

And that was when a ribbit sound echoed around the arena that made him jolt back to his feet.

A spectator appeared to have forgotten to turn their phone on silent and their ringtone interrupted proceedings.

Gilbert appeared to have seen the funny side of it as he smiled to himself as he tried to recompose himself.

Referee Desislava Bozhilova announced: “Please make sure your phones are on silent.”
