LAURA WOODS was seen with a bandage on her face as she took her dog for a walk following the horror injury caused by a freak accident.

The award-winning presenter was sidelined from her duties presenting Tyson Fury‘s heavyweight bout against Oleksandr Usyk after she was left with a cut on her face and arm.

Woods revealed last Friday how she had smashed a glass lampshade above her head, causing it to shatter and cut her face and arm.

The accident left the TNT Sports and ITV presenter with grievous and bloody wounds surrounding her eye and a large gash on the back of her arm.

It happened while on holiday with boyfriend Adam Collard, who stayed by her side as she was attended to by doctors who opened the surgery on their day off.

After a period of time recovering and ensuring she is on the mend, Woods was bravely seen out in public again earlier this week.

And it seems she is determined to ensure her injuries don’t get in the way of her life after she was spotted out again on a walk with her dog, Lu.

Woods‘ injuries appear to have healed over for the most part, but she was still seen wearing a bandage under her right eye.

The 36-year-old was pictured wrapping up for the changeable weather with a beanie, grey jumper and coat.

Arsenal mad Woods also completed her outfit with casual black joggers and white trainers.

She was also seen with a pair of sunglasses and had also taken the time to seemingly grab a hot drink from a coffee shop for the walk.

Her excursion earlier this week also saw Woods dropping her dog off at “doggy day care” during her trip out.

It is expected Woods will be back to business as usual in the next couple of weeks after she was announced as part of ITV’s presenting line up for Euro 2024.

She will host coverage of the tournament in Germany alongside veteran reporter Mark Pougatch.

However, Woods may even grave viewers screens sooner with TNT Sports showing the Champions League final on June 1.

Following her accident, Woods thanked former Love Islander Collard for his help, as well as her agents and the medical professionals who “worked magic” to reduce the damage.

She said on Instagram: “Just wanted to explain my absence from the telly for a little while, to be totally transparent and avoid any speculation.

“I had an accident last weekend at a holiday cottage. I swung a pillow and hit a large, glass lampshade hanging from the ceiling above me, which shattered and cut my face and arms, but luckily missed my eye.

“I wanted to say a couple of thank yous, firstly to Adam, for being my hero that day, acting so quickly and not leaving my side since and to his family for taking care of me in a time when I was petrified.

“To my agents Alex Maguire and Matthew Odonohue at CAA who searched for the best help immediately.

“To Dr Yannis Alexandrides and his wonderful medical assistant Zuzanna at 111 who opened their emergency surgery and came in on their days off, they were so gentle and have already worked magic that I didn’t think was possible to reduce the damage.

“I’ve added in the photos from then to now to show that even though it may look rough, it’s such a wonderful improvement already and I’m so grateful.

“It was a hell of a shock and I’ve been a bit sad, but I’m feeling very lucky it wasn’t worse. So a big thanks to my eyebrow too, for taking the brunt of it.

“I’m gutted I can’t cover the fight in Riyadh tomorrow anymore, but wishing the brilliant TNT boxing team all the best. Be back soon xx.”
