Good Samaritan Mr. Achonwa Rescues Missing Girl

A young girl of fifteen years old was on Tuesday night rescued by a good Samaritan Mr Victor Achonwa at Eke Nibo in Awka South Council Area.

The girl who is dumb, was taken to a human rights activist, Hope Okoye who brought the girl to Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).

Narrating the situation, Mrs Okoye explained that the girl whose name is Ifechukwu was taken to Ntasi Center and office of disability for sign language interpreters to interpret what she was saying which did not yield positive result.

She said that all hopes of getting any useful information from her proved abortive as she cannot talk.

The commercial motorcyclist who picked the girl Mr Achonwa said he picked her up as a passenger but discovered that she was missing when she could not say where she came from and where she was going. She was carrying some clothes, money and a bible in a bag.

Anybody who has useful information on how to unite the girl with her family should please come to ABS, near Aroma junction, Awka.
