You have the eyes of a hawk if you can spot Roma’s incredible kit blooper leaving club and Adidas in a panic

ADIDAS have been forced to quickly change Roma’s new kit after a huge blooper was spotted on its launch.

The Serie A club recently revealed their 2023/24 jerseys – but eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a major error.

The kit includes a design using the “Mappa del Falda”, an historical 1676 map of the city, in the background along the numbers.

However, it soon emerged that included a watermark on it from photograph supplier Alamy Stock.

Therefore, it seems that the ancient map image was taken from the photo company’s catalogue rather than a bespoke design.

The FootyHeadlines website even claims that shirt collector @FutbolShIrTALIA has ordered two of the new Roma kits with namesets.

It costs an extra £17 to get a name and number on the back.

But the images he has shared after receiving them also show that the numbers also feature the Alamy watermarks, which stands out like a sore thumb.

It still remains unknown if those that have already bought the botched jersey will get compensation.

However, it has now been widely-reported that both Roma and Adidas are now working to quickly resolve the embarrassing copyright watermark issue.

Il Tempo claims that the club and their kit supplier are rushing to get it removed before they are fully released to the public.

They also claim that neither Roma, who are managed by Jose Mourinho, nor Adidas are to blame for the error.

Instead, it was a third party that provided the Falda map for the design.

And it was them that forgot to remove the watermark.
