Jordan Henderson MBE is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool.

He was born on June 17, 1990, in Sunderland.

Henderson joined the Sunderland Academy when he was just eight years old.

He then made his debut for the first-team a decade later in November 2008.

After spending six months on loan at Coventry City in 2009, Jordan returned to Sunderland.

Henderson then signed for Liverpool in 2011 and was appointed as captain in 2015.
