The record for the most victories at the Crucible is currently jointly held by O’Sullivan and icon Stephen Hendry.
Luca Brecel won the title last year – but will not win it again having lost in the first round to David Gilbert.

Hendry and O’Sullivan are currently the most decorated snooker players of all time.
The Scot has won at the Crucible a stunning SEVEN times and Rocket joined him in 2022 with his victory at that tournament.
Hendry has also been runner-up twice.
