Real Madrid fans brutally snub Man City for tour of Old Trafford as Man Utd fans say ‘they know who the biggest club is’

Carlo Ancelotti‘s side were held 3-3 Pep Guardiola‘s Treble winners in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final last week.

And Madrid will hope to fare better in Manchester than they did last season, when they were routed 4-0 by City at the Etihad in the semi-finals.

And as they dream of overcoming City, their travelling fans headed to the Theatre of Dreams.

Madrid supporters did the ever popular tour of Old Trafford before heading across the city to the Etihad.

Video footage from by the side of the pitch this afternoon showed Real fans chanting and waving a flag.

Journalist Andy Mitten also reported sighting Madrid fans inside the stadium.

He said: “Been in Old Trafford’s museum – it’s full of travelling Real Madrid fans.”

Reacting to the video, one fan said: “They came to watch the game in Manchester. But went to visit the main bigger club in Manchester.
When you are big you are big.”

A second said: “Lol. Man City ain’t big enough to accommodate opponents .”

A third added: “Hope they loved the [Cristaino] Ronaldo and [David] Beckham’s catalogue.

Another said: “Make sure we have Garnacho and Kobbie locked away this weekend. No one from the Real Madrid organization should come near those two.”

A fifth said: “They probably wanted to see what a real Treble looked like…”

Amazon recently revealed a trailer for a three-part documentary series behind the 1999 Man Utd Treble, which was a previously never-before seen achievement in English football.

The exclusive status lasted until last year, when City won a Treble of their own, with their own documentary on the season being aired on Netflix.
