NFL legend Jason Bell reveals top three betting tips for the Super Bowl LVIII as the Chiefs take on the 49ers
JASON BELL has picked out his top three tips for the Super Bowl this weekend.
The NFL legend is preparing himself for the “biggest and best week in sport” as the countdown continues to the Vegas showpiece.

Defending champions Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Vegas to round off a thrilling NFL campaign in Super Bowl LVIII.
It’s a time that Bell – who turned out for Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and New York Giants during his career – can’t liken to any other competition in sport – particularly because of the host city.

How the game could play out
Personally, I want Kansas City to win because I want Patrick Mahomes to continue to chase [Tom] Brady.
To do that, he’s got to win and he’s got to win back-to-back.
I said that before the season so I’m sticking with that. That is what I want.
However, I do understand that people will look at The 49ers and expect them to be favourites when you look at their roster.
Before the season we looked and saw it was a great team but the question mark was on Brock Purdy, and could he perform? Well, he performed at an all-star level in the last game when his team needed him. Could he take the team on his back? He’s proven he can.
What we have to consider though is who they’re up against. And that is the greatest quarterback in the NFL. There’s nobody like Patrick Mahomes! It’s Mahomes and then everybody else. This guy is unique, we might not see his like again for a long time.
So it’s banking on who I can call on, who I can trust going down the stretch and I lean towards Mahomes.
They’re here because their defence has been prolific all season and they got better and they have experience. They handle pressure great, not just because they, the players, have been there, but the staff too.
If you’re Kansas City, you want to come out fast. The 49ers’ system isn’t set up for coming from behind and puts them in a predicament. If Chiefs can have a lead into the second half, [Steve] Spagnuolo [Chiefs defensive coordinator] can call such a unique game plan to put pressure on them.

How can you possibly go against Patrick Mahomes!?
If he beats you it’s like ‘oh my goodness, I knew better!’ It’s gotten to that point.
I’m definitely in the Chiefs camp but we’ll see how things pan out throughout the week up until the game starts.

Low scoring
I don’t see it being too high scoring. Firstly, these defences and their coordinators are both really good.
They have so much understanding on what the other does well. They’ll put you in a place where you constantly have to adjust. Which the good teams do!
I don’t see many points but I do see a tense game, where if there are drives then they’re long.
There will be explosive plays – of course there will – but they will be hard fought, meaning at any moment one play can turn the game.
It should be competitive, I’m looking at each team not getting more than 23 points each so maybe 21-23. The under 44.5 market is what I’m looking at.

I have to say Patrick because I think Kansas City are winning this.
BUT if it was to fall the 49ers way I have to say it could very well be Christian McCaffrey. I’m not putting it past him having a crazy day.
