Mikel Arteta dyes his hair EVERY DAY, claims Man Utd legend in bizarre rant

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Dwight Yorke has accused Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta of dying his hair.

The Gunners boss, 42, has kept an impressively full of head of hair since retiring from playing and shows no signs of going grey.

Yet ex-Man Utd striker Yorke, 52, has suggested Arteta is maintaining the colour of his hair through the use of dye.

Speaking to TVSportGuide, he said: “Will Arteta start getting grey hairs? You can’t see grey hairs if you dye your hair every day.

“Arteta won’t allow that to show. Your hair can’t be that black at that age.”

As well as the bizarre criticism of Arteta’s hair, Yorke also took aim at Arsenal‘s title bid.

Defeat to Aston Villa earlier this month saw the North London club relinquish control of the title race and hand the initiative to defending champions Manchester City.

They were also eliminated by Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Arsenal have responded with back-to-back league wins over Wolves and Chelsea, scoring seven and keeping two clean sheets, leaving them three points clear of Liverpool and four ahead of Man City – who have two games in hand.

Yet ex-Man Utd man Yorke, who won three Premier League titles in a row between 1999 and 2001, still believes there is an issue around the Gunners in the latter stages of campaigns after they spurned an eight-point lead over Man City last season.

Tactics Exposed: Why Kai Havertz is Arsenal’s most important player

By Dean Scoggins

KAI HAVERTZ endured a difficult start to life at the Emirates after his big-money move from Chelsea.

But has now well and truly found his feet.

The German, 24, has found his scoring boots in recent weeks, including his double against his old club.

But Havertz has been providing much more than goals in recent months.

In fact he has become Mikel Arteta’s most important player as Arsenal go for the title.

That’s after the Spanish boss made a genius tactical switch.

He added: “Arsenal’s annual collapse in April is concerning for the club.

“Every time they come to the business end of the season, we’ve seen them lose some important games.

“It’s a psychological reason, because they were playing some of the best football in the league weeks ago, managing to score at least four goals a game, so it’s an unbelievable change. It’s pressure getting to the players and Mikel Arteta.

“We usually see the manager run up and down the touchline, but now it looks like he’s running out of energy.

“Arteta has to be careful, he looks like he’s become cautious and defensive mode, and his body language is not what it was a month ago.

“Compare his body language in interviews and on the side of the pitch, and tell me you don’t see a difference.

“The pressure is likely to blow up in his face again, and that will be a disaster for Arsenal. The intensity in his interviews is not what it used to be.”

Arsenal head to bitter rivals Tottenham on Sunday knowing a win will ensure they retain top spot come the end of the weekend.
