Jesus, 26, scored the third goal of the game in the 38th minute to put the hosts in full control.
The Brazilian’s effort was his second in three games with his other coming in the 3-1 win over Manchester United earlier this month.
Jesus has now claimed that the win over the Red Devils was a “good warm-up” for the Champions League.
Jesus’ jibe came when Thierry Henry asked him about his recent injury problems which meant that his first start of the season came against PSV.
Henry asked on CBS: “Can you explain to people how difficult it is to be injured, and watch your team play?
“And just if you fast-forward [to] now, scoring that goal – and especially the one I love is the one against Man United when you put the defender down and you finished. Can you explain the process of you coming back from that injury please?”
To which Jesus hilariously replied: “Was a good warm-up, huh?”
“It’s so hard, you guys played the game, you know. I had some injuries in my career and [that] was a bad time always”, he added.

“But obviously I tried to be strong in my mind to come back as quick as possible and stronger.
“And it’s not easy to watch, you wanna play all the time. But at the end you have to go for the challenge.
“That’s the life, football players’ life is like this. And also, yeah, It’s good to score goals, I love to score goals, I try.
“It was a good goal against United, the first one [of the season], finally. And then tonight, again, we play good and we win the game, that’s the most important thing.”
Fans watching the coverage loved the moment as they praised Jesus for his poke at the club’s rivals.
One fan hailed: “We’ve got the Messiah.”
A second Tweeted: “He seems so down to earth.”
A third commented: “Did Gabi just call this game a warm-up? I love this team.”
A fourth wrote: “No way he actually said that.”
A fifth said: “Man said he warmed up against Utd, proper Arsenal man.”
Another added: “‘Good warm-up’ hahahaha.”
To make matters worse for Man United, they were beaten in their own Champions League match.
The Red Devils were frustrated as they lost 4-3 to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
