De Gea, 32, has recently been tipped with a return to the Red Devils, which has seen him drip multiple hints on social media.

Now, he has shared a glimpse into his love life with a sweet picture on social media.

The goalkeeper posted a snap of himself and Edurne sharing a glass of bubbles while out for lunch in Manchester.

De Gea captioned the image with the words “My date”.

Edurne also shared her own post as she uploaded a brief video of the pair having their post-food coffee.

She wrote “love you” on the video as well as adding that they were dining in Manchester.

The happy couple tied the knot earlier this year.

SunSport exclusively reported that Man United were considering offering the stopper a return to the club that he spent 12 years at.

This is because Andre Onana could miss up to eight games with his participation in the African Cup of Nations with Cameroon.

De Gea has already taken to social media in response to the rumours of his return to Man United.

He first posted a thinking emoji on X, formerly known as Twitter, before sharing that he was training on Instagram.

Stats suggest that Manchester United could be pulling off a masterstroke by resigning De Gea after Andre Onana’s questionable start to life at Old Trafford.

With Onana set to leave for AFCON, United would be left with Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton as their goalkeeping options during this period.

Bayindir also moved to Old Trafford in the summer as he completed a £4.3million switch from Fenerbache.
