Bullying Is Very Common In Our School – Abuja British School Students (Video)

Some students of Lead British International School in Abuja have claimed that bullying is regular in the institution.

The students made the revelation following the viral videos of some students of the school bullying their classmate, Namtira Bwala.

In an interview with The Punch on Tuesday, one of the students said bullying is very common in the school, and it happens every day.

See the video below.

It was earlier reported that there was outrage on social media following the circulation of videos showing Bwala being harassed by her fellow students in what appeared like an interrogation session.

The victim was slapped several times by another female student in the presence of other students who appeared to be privies to the action.

A Twitter user, @mooyeeeeeee posted an SOS, accompanied by the videos, calling for justice for the victim and a wider social movement against bullying.

The X user wrote: “There’s a video I’m about to post. I need you guys to help me get justice for her. She was bullied in her school by her classmates at Lead British School, Abuja. Please make it go viral so she can get justice.”

One of the videos captures a girl slapping the victim while asking, “Who broke my heart?”, while in another video, the victim sits next to a male student who admits, “I spoilt her relationship.”

However, the Head of Lead British International School, Abraham Ogunkambi, said in a statement on Tuesday that the school’s management disapproved of the incident.

Ogunkambi announced that the school would provide counselling and impose disciplinary actions on the perpetrators to correct their behaviour.

He added that a panel has also been set up to investigate the matter and other allegations of bullying within the school.
