Video: Rita Edochie States Why Buhari Govt Must Free Nnamdi Kanu
Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has enjoined the Buhari-led government to set free the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu so that everyone Nigeria will be free.
According to the actress, via her Instagram page on Friday, the Nigerian state is not free until the government releases the IPOB leader.
She also shared a short clip of the IPOB leader, addressing newsmen on the reasons for his opposition towards the Nigerian government.
In the video, Nnamdi Kanu listed the problems that has besieged Igbo land and people since after war, hence the reason why he is clamoring for the Biafra state.
Reaffirming the IPOB leader’s statement, Rita Edochie maintained that anyone who believes in what Nnamdi Kani is fighting for, also believe in good governance, justice and equity.
She added that the federal government should free Nnamdi Kanu so everyone will be free.
In her words; “ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN BIAFRAN AGITATION BELIEVES IN GOOD GOVERNANCE, JUSTICE, EQUITY AND FAIRNESS . FREE MAZI NNAMDI OKWU KANU SO THAT EVERYONE CAN BE FREE.”
