Yul Edochie’s First Wife, May, Speaks On ‘Cashing Out’ With Husband’s Second Marriage Saga

May Edochie, the first wife of Nollywood actor, Yul has reacted to the speculations about using her husband’s second marriage saga to make money.

Recall that earlier this year, Yul got the social media agog when he announced a new marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin and the arrival of their son, Star Dikeh.

Many Nigerians expressed concern for May and frequently stormed her social media page with words of encouragement.

In no time, May started monetising her newfound fame as she turned brand influencer as well as signing some endorsement deals.

Responding to criticisms, May in a video shared on her Youtube Channel said she has been seeing various comments about using her husband’s second marriage to cash out.

May said she would not wish what she passed through upon her enemies and instead of dwelling on depression, she decided to pick the pieces of a beautiful world she had.

According to May, life has not been easy since the incident, however, she is glad about some of the things she can do.

She added that the love and support from her family and social media followers have kept her strong.

She said: “I saw some few comments that May is using this to cash out and all of that and I am like okay, it’s fine, i am cashing out right.

“I don’t wish this upon my enemies, if at all I have any. Depression is real and there are different stages to it. Rather than dwell on depression, I decided to pick up the pieces of a beautiful world that I had. An amazing one that suddenly crushed. I decided to pick up the pieces and move on, rather than dwell on depression.

“It has not been easy. Am glad that I look happy and I appear strong. I am happy, I am glad that I am able to go out and do things. I am surprised at the things that I do. It’s all because of the love and support from my family and you all.

“These are the things that have kept me going. Honestly speaking people say I aspire and motivate them but the truth is it’s you guys that have inspired me”.
