Youthful Exuberance Affecting My Son And His Fighters – Terrorist Dogo Gide’s Mother

The mother of a notorious terrorist, Dogo Gide has reacted to the continued detention of eleven victims abducted from the Federal Government College, Yauri in Kebbi State.

Gide and his fighters in June 2021 had abducted teachers and students from the school, however, some of the victims were released.

Naija News had earlier reported that Gide insisted on collecting the sum of N100 million as ransom before releasing the abducted pupil.

Gide’s mother whose name was not stated in an audio recording spotted by Premium Times expressed sadness over the continued delay in releasing the girls.

The terrorist’s mother while condemning his son for not negotiating with the victims’ parents to release their girls said they are being overcome by youthful exuberance.

She pleaded with the affected parents to forgive his son and his fighters for their actions.

Speaking with one of the women whose daughter is still being held by his son, she said, “please sorry. Bear with the situation because it’ll come to an end.

“Please, let them talk to these boys accordingly (the terrorists) because I want the children (captives) to go back home. You know I’m not living with them (terrorists) I just came and I want to go back home after this thing is settled. Tell your people to quickly discuss and bring an end to this issue.

“You know how the worldly things are, while some people are working for something to success, others will be working to frustrate the efforts.”
