And United have the chance to take home a second trophy of the season if they win at Wembley.

But the Red Devils will have to do it in different colour shorts than what they are used to wearing.

Manchester United are wearing black shorts so that they wouldn’t clash with Manchester City‘s white shorts.

The Red Devils usually play in white shorts but have been forced to change as they are the away team at Wembley.

Who else have Man Utd wore black shorts against?

The Red Devils often wear black shorts when they play against bitter rivals Manchester City at the Etihad.

But it wasn’t a pair of shorts to remember as United got thrashed by City 6-3.

Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both scored a hattrick each in what was a torrid match for Man United.

United also wore black shorts for their Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla back in April.

It was not a good omen that day, United cruised to a 2-0 lead and should have put the tie out of sight, only for Sevilla to come back and draw 2-2 before winning the second leg 3-0.
