WHEN GOD STANDS BY YOU!
Several times, we thought God has left us because of our consistent offenses against Him; but the reverse is the case. Understand that God has never left you, because He has left no one, and He does not leave people. It is the people that have left God!
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleans your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (James 4:8 KJV).
No matter your offense against God, He is still with you, that is why you are still alive today; else, He would have judged you before now by killing you!
Remember that God is not standing by you, so you can keep offending Him by living in sin; but He is standing by you so you can become a total or real person He created you to be from the beginning.
God stood by Jephthah when his family rejected him; and later on, those who rejected him came looking for him as they heard about his success. Judges 11:1-11.
It does not matter who rejected you at the moment for nothing; when God stands by you, they will look for you soon. Your standard in life, determines who stands by you. When God stands by you, you cannot be stranded in life. It does not matter who has left your life now, if God remains with you; he or she will run back to you shortly.
By God’s grace, I prayed for a lady who was partially blind for ten years ago; the parents spent almost a million naira on same disease, but the expected therapy was no avail! But she got healed instantly after the prayers; till tomorrow, she sees brighter! That was because God stood by her. I also prayed for a Muslim guy who was a drug dealer, though every of his relatives rejected him; but after he gave his life to Christ, everything about him changed for good, which he now owns his personal company, and a minister of the gospel; that was because God stood by him. I prayed for a lady of about 39 years of age; no engagement for marriage, and she was approaching 40 years of age. After counseling and prayers with her, within one year, God answered her prayers: a good-looking man got connected to her in Abuja. And her adequate wedding took place in the same year. That was because God stood by her. To God alone be the glory, because He is the doer! And yours is the next.
Never get discouraged, because God is aware of your existence. No matter your sins today, Jesus still loves you. Remember that it is only the living that has hope, and when you are dead, you are hopeless! Please forgive yourself, because God has forgiven you all your sins. Psalm 103:3. All you have to say today is Lord; I know that I have left you for long, now I remain with you for life. And when you have done that, you will henceforth see the manifestations of God standing by you. Do not forget that one day; everything in this life will end as rapture takes place: no more going to the market, farm, school, work, etc. There would be no political race, no more going to church; there would be neither Aso Rock nor White House. And those who would be behind will face the wrath of the devil and his agents. Matthew 24:27-28, 30-31, 40-41. Do you believe this? You better believe it, because if you do not believe it now; death may not give you the chance to believe it anymore! It privileged me to preach to a medical doctor, when I met him dying on a sick bed, suffering from sickle cell anemia. He cried excruciatingly, because he was afraid to die! I preached to him and asked him to give his life to Jesus Christ; he consented on the spot, and after about two weeks he gave his life to Jesus Christ; I passed through that route again and discovered his obituary posters–he died! My beloved brother and sister; do not leave God, let no one deceive you, return to Him today, and you will have rest of mind all throughout your life on earth. Had I known, is a statement of missing it! So no matter the consistence of your backsliding or rising and falling, God is still interested in you, because He has a better life for you, if only you accept Him now. When you fall, it is not a crime; it is only a crime when you have fallen and remained on the floor! Rise today to keep the journey moving.
SALVATION CALL–DO IT NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
If you gave your life to Christ before, but along the way you backslide because of temptations, or there is a sin in your life, which you have been battling with: drunkenness, prostitution, humanizing, stealing, lying, cheating etc., and you are ready to welcome Jesus into your heart, and rededicate or surrender your life to Jesus Christ today, repeat after me as stated below:
“Lord Jesus, thank you for your word for me today, and thank you once again for dying for my sins at Calvary; I am a sinner, please forgives me and come into my heart as I make you the Lord of my life today. Please deliver me from every addiction, as I rededicate my life to you. Write my name in the book of life. Thank you, Lord, for saving me and I am now born again. Amen!” Congratulations!
