‘What A COUNTRY’ Rita Edochie Reacts As Police Officer Defies Sanwo-Olu’s Order

Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has reacted after Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) publicly defied the order of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday.

Naija News had reported that the CSP openly defied the order of the governor to vacate the Magodo Phase 2 Estate area of the state on Tuesday.

Recall that security operatives had besieged the estate in the company of suspected land grabbers and members of a family who had planned to execute a Supreme Court justice.

This development had caused a commotion as residents called on Sanwo-Olu to intervene.

The governor then visited the estate and told the leader of the security operatives to vacate the premises as the matter was between private individuals and the state government.

But to the surprise of those around, the CSP told the governor that he and his colleagues were at the estate on the orders of the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba; as well as the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

Reacting to the ordeal, the actress expressed disappointment over the degree of lawlessness in the country.

She wrote; ”NIGERIA is a LAND of LAWLESSNESS as CSP of POLICE COMMAND Abuja CAME to MAGODO Lagos to DEMOLISH BUILDINGS without the KNOWLEDGE/AUTHORITY from the LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT even when the GOVERNOR the CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER and the matter has nothing to do with the POLICE in Abuja.

“Unfortunately information got to the Lagos State GOVERNOR who QUICKLY GOT to the PLACE to CONFRONT the ILLEGAL INVADERS. What a COUNTRY? THEY JUST WANT TO CREATE PROBLEM THE GOVERNOR.”
