MIKEL ARTETA made David Raya’s WAG’s day with a simple gesture on her fella’s first day as an Arsenal player.

The 27-year-old Spanish international will now go head-to-head with Aaron Ramsdale to become Arteta’s first choice.

Brentford had initially demanded £40m for a player who only cost them £2m when they bought him from Blackburn in 2019.

That was enough to end interest from Tottenham and Manchester United despite him having only 12 months remaining on his contract.

But Raya made it clear to Brentford boss Thomas Frank that he wanted to move to Arsenal and he finally got his dream switch yesterday.

The stopper was joined by his stunning model girlfriend Tatiana Trouboul, 28, to officially pen his contract at his unveiling in North London.

The Spaniard bombshell, who grew up in Barcelona, looked sensational in an all-black outfit and knee high boots alongside her man.

But she was left struggling when she wanted a photo alongside Raya, who was decked out in Arsenal’s training kit, signing his deal.

That was until Arteta stepped in to grab her phone to take the snap of them together for her.

“Mikel with the assist,” responded one fan to the clip, which was shared by Arsenal.

Another called the manager “a man of the people” while it was also described as “cute Spanish moment”.

“The manager is claiming the assist,” said another as a fellow fan added: “The vibe of this club right now is amazing!”

Tatiana, who has 9,000 Instagram followers, started dating Raya in October 2021 but they kept their relationship quiet until June 2022.

Prior to meeting the goalie, the brunette worked in a Barcelona nightclub but is now forging a new career as a model.

And she is now stranger to sharing photos of her exploits online, with a range of sizzling bikini snaps among the collection on her Insta page.
