Tottenham have NINE manager targets but hunt for new boss hits rocks over ‘concerns’ about club

Conte, 53, torched his relationship with his squad by slamming them as “selfish”.

SunSport revealed that many Spurs stars want their manager sacked after his furious rant.

And they appear to be about to get their wish, with Tottenham drawing up a shortlist of potential replacements.

Ryan Mason is likely to step in for his second stint as caretaker boss until the end of the season, having taken charge of seven matches after Jose Mourinho’s sacking in 2021.

According to the Telegraph, out of work trio Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel and Luis Enrique are on Tottenham’s radar.

They add that Spurs may struggle to attract some of their top candidates, however, due to reservations over how the club is being run.

Some potential new bosses are claimed to believe that Conte over-performed last year to clinch a spot in the top four – and that this season has been a more accurate depiction of the problems that lie within the squad.

There are also reservations regarding managing director Fabio Paratici’s role within the club.

The Italian was slapped with a 30-month ban from football in his homeland for his role in Juventus’ capital gains scandal – with the possibility of the suspension being applied worldwide still looming.

Spurs are also considering candidates that are already in jobs.

Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner is on their radar, having won the Europa League last season and managed against Spurs in the Champions League this term.

Celtic’s Ange Postecoglou is another intriguing candidate, having transformed Celtic into free-scoring champions after arriving from Yokohama F. Marinos in 2021.

Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi and Brentford’s Thomas Frank are also of interest to Spurs chiefs, having already impressed in the Premier League.

While SunSport revealed that Fulham manager Marco Silva has impressed Spurs chiefs.
