Tomorrow Is Not Child’s Play – APC National Youth Leader Tells Lagosians What To Do To Sanwo-Olu
The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dayo Israel has urged the people of Lagos to cast their votes for Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the March 18 governorship election.
Israel in a rallying call via his Twitter account on Friday said nothing must be taken for granted concerning tomorrow’s governorship and state assembly elections in Lagos State.
He appealed to Lagosians to vote for Sanwo-Olu who is the APC candidate and defend their votes. According to him, Lagos is too important to be left in the hands of charlatans.
He wrote: “Tomorrow is not child’s play. Don’t take anything for Granted. Go out there and vote for APC. Vote for BABAJIDE OLUSOLA SANWOOLU, then Defend your vote. That’s all. This state is too important to be handed to Charlatans.”
Naija News reports Sanwo-Olu who is seeking a second term in office as the Lagos State governor is up against competition from the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Olajide Adeniran (Jandor).
MC Oluomo: Lagos Police React To Threats On Igbo Electorates
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa has announced that an investigation has been launched into the alleged threat against Igbos issued by the Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.
Owohunwa stated this while during an interview TV Arise News on the preview of the governorship and state assembly elections slated for Saturday.
Naija News recalls that MC Oluomo, in a viral video, had threatened that Igbo people living in Lagos should not bother to come to the polls if they will not vote for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
