THE SECRET OF HIS DEATH & RESURRECTION
We learn every day because we decide to learn new things every day. The Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see this deep mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is the Saviour of the whole world. This message could sound ambiguous, but you will be shortly elucidated by the Holy Spirit as you travel with me on this message.
The question one could ask is is it possible to die twice and resurrect twice? This was the same question in my heart when the Holy Spirit engaged me in this lesson! But, it was clear and inspiring to me as the Holy Spirit illuminated me on it. Do you remember when Nicodemus visited Jesus, regarding the process of being born again? Jesus admonished him to be born again if he must enter the kingdom of God. But, Nicodemus was amazed at how a grown full age man could be born again by entering into his biological mother’s womb the second time! John 3:1-21. So, this scripture establishes that you can be born twice: physically and spiritually. So, if you can be born twice; then you can also die twice, and be resurrected twice. Get the message below.
JESUS CHRIST DIED TWICE:- “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.” Matthew 27:50. Our preceding scripture revealed to us that Jesus died a physical death. If He died a physical death, the purpose was to deliver us from the physical premature death. “With long life, I will satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Psalm 91:16. When Jesus died in the flesh, He died to give you and me a strong life sperm for life longevity. In other words; living to full age, and for destiny fulfillment! You see; you cannot die prematurely if Jesus has already died for you! You have the license to live long on earth to fulfill your days. His physical death also means you and I were also dead to sin physically; which means, we are no longer alive in sin because sin no longer has dominion over us. Do you understand that Jesus was also buried twice? When He died physically, he was buried in a physical grave! Matthew 27:59-60. This means we were buried in sin with Him; if He was buried in sin physically, then we are no longer alive to sin physically!
The second death Jesus Had was spiritual! Spiritual death is when a man dies and goes to hell! Are you surprised to hear that Jesus went to hell? Sure, He went to hell for us, preached to the saints in hell, and defeated Satan and his cohorts in hell! “And it was by the Spirit that he went to preach to the spirits in prison (hell). In the past, these spirits were disobedient – when God patiently waited during the time of Noah. Noah built an ark in which a few (that is, eight) lives were rescued through water.” 1 Peter 3:19-20 (CEB – underlined word emphasis mine).
Jesus died in the flesh, was buried physically; imprisoned, and was buried in hell spiritually for three days. Normally, nobody goes to hell and leaves; but Jesus was buried in hell so, you and I could escape hell! Understand that hell is the house of Satan; so, Jesus went to the house of Satan, bound him, defeated him, and loosened the saints who were imprisoned by the preaching of His word. After all these missions Jesus had in hell, Satan couldn’t`t hold Him down in hell; therefore, He resurrected from hell (first resurrection from spiritual death to spiritual life); and resurrected from the grave to physical life (second resurrection from physical death to physical life in the flesh. “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them (physical contact), saying All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. ” Matthew 28:6,9 (Words in bracket Emphasis mine)
Beloved, Jesus died first in the flesh (physically), second in the spirit (spiritually); buried in the flesh (physically), buried in the spirit (spiritually – went to hell); resurrected spiritually (from hell), and from grave back to the physical life in the flesh, before He was rapture to heaven to be with His Father (God). God is awesome; that is a great sacrifice just because of you and me! We now have the freedom to live without fear of the prison of sin, premature death, spiritual death, sickness, poverty, curse, backwardness, retrogression, etc. Jesus has suffered all we would have suffered! There is no need to be suppressed by the threat of the devil any longer; because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us all is sacrosanct! “For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and received, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.” Romans 14:9All you can do today is to accept His love of sacrifice for you as you receive Him into your life; and hand over your entire life to Him, so you can start enjoying all the benefits of His death for you.

Lord Jesus, thank you for your word to me today and thank you once again for dying for my sins at Calvary. I confess that I am a sinner, please forgive me and come into my heart as I make you the Lord of my life today. Please deliver me from every addiction of sin, as I rededicate my life to you as a backslider. Write my name in the Book of Life. Thank you Lord for saving me and I am now born again. Amen!
