Templegate tips Willie Mullins to run riot at Fairyhouse with 45-1 treble featuring huge Cheltenham eyecatcher

TEMPLEGATE loves the look of a monster Willie Mullins treble at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

He’s picked out four punts on the card but it’s the 45-1 treble for the Closutton boss that really stands out.

2.35 – JADE DE GRUGY

JADE DE GRUGY was beaten just four lengths in the Dawn Run at Cheltenham last time despite not getting the clearest of runs.

She was caught up in a barging match jumping the second-last that cost her vital lengths. She looked a superstar in the making when winning a Grade 3 here in January when the ground was testing as it will be today.

Mullins’ main man Paul Townend keeps the faith after Cheltenham and her proven stamina can steer her back in front here.

3.10 – NO FLIES ON HIM

Veteran trainer Edward O’Grady swerved Cheltenham with this five-year-old to keep him fresh for this target.

He looked a hot prospect when winning against 27 rivals on debut at Leopardstown on Boxing Day. He tanked along there and was value for further than the official winning margin.

That saw him upped to Listed level at Punchestown last month where he came up against a revitalised Tullyhill who clocked a big personal best in beating him.

There would have been a lot less between them but for a final-flight error and he can take another step forward here.

3.45 – TOUNSIVATOR

Mullins has won eight of the past ten runnings of this race and he has another strong team this time.

TOUNSIVATOR is the pick of Paul Townend and he was on board when he got the better of 24 rivals on debut at Naas last time.

That built on his solid Flat form in France where he was a useful handicapper.

He is proven in bottomless ground and should have learned plenty from the first run where he made a couple of novicey errors.

4.55 – BLOOD DESTINY

He swerved Cheltenham so should have a freshness edge on Zanahiyr who ran a good race in the Golden Miller at the Festival.

Blood Destiny was impressive when scoring by more than six lengths at Navan earlier this month.

The ground was testing that day so there should be no issue with these conditions and he will have no issues with this step up in distance.

A treble on the three Mullins’ horses pays 45-1 at the time of writing.
