The fallout from Luis Rubiales’ kissgate scandal rumbles on after the RFEF axed their ‘Director of Integrity’ on Friday night.

Miguel Garcia Caba’s departure was announced in a brief social media post.

But it came 25 minutes into Spain Women’s crunch Nations League clash with Sweden.

The statement read: “The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided today to dispense with the services of the Director of Integrity, Miguel Garcia Caba.”

The decision to axe Caba during a women’s match left some fans stunned.

One said: “And we don’t want to do without the defence of the women’s team?”

Another declared: “Why was there an integrity director without integrity????”

Caba is the latest departure following the scandal of Rubiales kissing Jenni Hermoso without her consent after Spain won the Women’s World Cup.

Hermoso filed an official criminal case against Rubiales earlier this month, as the disgraced former FA chief continues to insist he is innocent of any wrongdoing.

SunSport exclusively revealed he is now selling his £1.2million Madrid home amid mounting legal bills.

A host of other big wigs have been axed, including boss Jorge Vilda and the secretary general.

And Spain Women have now re-branded themselves as simply the Spanish Football Team as they attempt to move on from the scandal.
