The journey of former Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has ended at Old Trafford as pictures were spotted online showing some men tearing his giant mural outside the club.

Workmen were seen removing the huge image of Solskjaer, who was recently relieved of his duty in the club, from Sir Matt Busby stand at Old Trafford stadium.

The Red Devils had sacked Solskjaer after losing 4-1 to Watford, while Michael Carrick took over as caretaker boss during their Champions League clash.

Meanwhile Manchester United has reportedly reached an agreement with German tactician Ralf Rangnick, a former RB Leipzig head coach, to become interim manager until the end of the season.

Naija News understands that the 63-year-old agreed to a six-month deal with Man United.

The former RB Leipzig manager is expected to be in the Red Devil’s dugout until the end of the 2021/22 season when he will have a further two years in a consultancy role.

With the new deal, Ralf will leave his position as head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow.

The agreement is subject to Lokomotiv agreeing to release him from his contract.
