The 17-year-old sensation booked his spot in the final with a 10-5 win over Michael Smith.

Humphries then followed it up with a victory by the same score against Michael van Gerwen.

But during Sky Sports’ live showing of the final, a technical fault left viewers raging.

Supporters were unable to see the scoreboard in the early stages of the match.

A glitch saw a different-looking graphic appear in the bottom right corner.

Only for Sky Sports’ usual style to flash back up as both clashed and overlapped each other on screens.

They then vanished completely to leave fans trying to subtract from 501 in their heads.

And after a leg without the numbers – the issue was fixed and it reappered on screens to the relief of many.

But by that point, fans had already lost their way in the match, with one commenting: “Watching darts without a scoreboard is very difficult.”

Another added: “Everyone’s good at maths until the scoreboard disappears on the darts.”

A third reacted: “Where’s the scoreboard gone?”

Littler put in an incredible performance in the final and hit a nine-darter with the score level at 5-5.
