See Governorship Election Results Of States Uploaded On INEC IReV Portal So Far

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun upload of Saturday’s governorship, and Houses of Assembly elections result on its IReV (INEC Election Result Viewer) portal for Nigerians to see.

Naija News reports that Saturday’s election was conducted in 28 out of 36 states of the federation.

Of the 28 states where elections were conducted, only 11 serving governors battled for reelection for a second term in office, while the remaining 17 outgoing governors are to complete their constitutional two-term limits of eight years, which will elapse by May 29, 2023, after which they may seek other political positions peradventure they are still interested in politics.

For today’s polls, only a few state’s results have made it to INEC’s IReV. See the states below and the percentage of governorship election results uploaded so far.

Enugu – 71.39%
Delta – 39.04%
Kano – 26.47%
Abia – 36.16%
Borno – 34.19%
Lagos – 50%

Enugu -79.88%
Nasarawa -70.36%
Jigawa -49.09%
Kwara – 63.66%
