Rivers Guber: ADC’s Tonye Ibraye, Tonto Dikeh Receive Certificate Of Return [Photos]
The 2023 Governorship candidate of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State, Tonye Ibraye, and his running mate, Tonto Dikeh, have received their Certificates of Return.
Naija News reports that Ibraye and Dikeh received their certificates from the party’s National Chairman, Ralph Okey Nwosu, in Abuja on Friday.
Nwosu stated that the presentation of the certificates showed the readiness of the party to start mobilising for support towards victory at the general election.
The certificate presentation was witnessed by members of the party’s National Working Committee and critical party stakeholders among others.
Recall that Dikeh had earlier taken to her Instagram page to announce her emergence as Ibraye’s running mate alongside their campaign poster with the hashtag ‘Rivers Rescue Mission 2023’.
The actress expressed appreciation to the Governorship candidate, stating that they are looking forward to investing massively in social protection, creating social value for young people and increasing women’s inclusion in the governance system.
She added that they would be supporting small businesses and strengthening the traditional institution to be active players in the drive to bring sustainable development.
