The Ceo and Publisher of Premium Times and Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development,(CJID) has charged Nigerians that the sustenance of Primary health care centers across the country is a duty for everyone.

He remarked while speaking at this year’s edition of the National Health Dialogue held in Bon Hotel Elvis, Abuja tagged Primary healthcare financing “role of state and non-state actors” was organized by the media firm and sponsored by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to sensitize both state and non-state actors about their roles in quality healthcare service delivery at the grassroots.

Olorunyomi speaking further said to curb the maternal mortality rate requires effort from everyone to salvage dilapidating state of the country’s health sector, “whatever synergy anyone can input will go a long way to strengthen the health sector”.

On her part Director, Primary
healthcare system development, Dr. Ngozi Nwosu pleads for more support from non-state actors that quality health service delivery requires a great financial commitment which the government alone can not be saddled with, for primary healthcare centers to reach their optimum services, everyone’s efforts and contributions are needed.
