A former Kannywood actress, Fatti Mohammed has said that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi can only win the 2023 election on social media.

The actress insisted that Nigerians have forgotten that elections are held in polling unit and not on social media.

“Peter Obi can only win elections on twitter simply because his supporters have knowledge of twitter forgetting that elections happen in polling unit Not in Twitter page,” she wrote.

“Let me Speak with the language that you would understand much better….. Na only for Twitter Peter Obi fii win election not for polling unit. Becox em people Sabi sabi posting on Twitter, forgetting na for polling unit election denhappenappn, not in Twitter page,” she added.

Obi has become an internet sensation after he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to join the LP.

Meanwhile, A delegation of the United States-based National Democratic Institute (NDI) and International Republican Institute (IRI) has stated that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will not be the only main contenders for the 2023 election as a viable third force has emerged.

The institute, while presenting its first jopre-elections assessment statement and report on the Osun State governorship election, stated that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) may force the 2023 contest into a re-run.
