Over 2,500 Imams Storm Kano State To Pray For Tinubu’s 2023 Presidential Ambition

Not less than 2,500 Islamic clerics on Saturday took part in a special prayer session in Kano State organized in support of the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Naija News gathered the prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Kafin-Maiyaki and had other Imams and politicians from Kano in attendance.

It is further understood that the prayer was organized by a former House of Representatives Member and Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority, Abdullmumini Jibrin Kofa.

The prayers were held at Kofa village in Bebeji Local Government Area, Kano State, around 11:30 am.

The organizer of the prayer session, Kofa explained that the focus of the prayers was the presidential ambition of Tinubu as well as towards the peace and stability of Nigeria.

He said: “This special prayer was organized for the success of the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections as well as for peace and stability in the country.”

In other news, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has threatened to remove four first-class traditional rulers from office over alleged insubordination to the state government.

Wike in his new year message to the residents of the state which was posted on his Facebook page on Saturday, accused the identified royal fathers of constantly failing to attend state functions.

He added that should they continue to absent themselves from state functions and meetings of the Traditional Rulers Council, the government will be forced to remove them from office and replace them.
