Nollywood Actress, Stella Damasus Mourns

Veteran Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has announced the death of her mother.

The actress who recently celebrated the 11th anniversary of her father’s death did not reveal the cause of her mother’s death.

The 43-year-old shared the sad news via an Instagram post on Monday morning.

Sharing a photo of her late mother, she wrote; “This is not goodbye, it’s TILL WE MEET AGAIN. Love you forever mummy.”

The actress’s colleagues have stormed her page to console her with cheering words.

Andrea Chika Chukwu wrote, “Ooh dear God. I am so sorry sweetie sending you hugs and praying with you. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”

Star actress Shaffy Bello simply wrote, “My condolences darling.”

Halima Abubakar wrote, “Am so sorry sis.”

Stella Damasus is an award-winning Nigerian actress who was born on April 24, 1978, and has been nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009.

She won the Award for Best Actress at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2007. In 2012, she won the award for Best Actress for the movie Two Brides and a Baby at the Golden Icons Academy Awards in Houston, Texas.
