#NigeriaDecides2023: God Save Nigeria From This Precarious Situation – Peter Obi Reacts To Gov’ship Polls

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reacted to Saturday’s governorship and state assembly election that happened in 28 states across the federation.

This is as Obi has expressed deep sadness about incidences of acts of violence and even deaths that happened yesterday as a result of the conduct of the election.

Naija News understands that the Labour Party flag bearer took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to sympathize with Nigerians who died yesterday during the election and also wished fast recovery to the injured.

According to him, it’s quite unfortunate Nigerians would have to lose their lives in the participation of a simple thing like an election, noting that it is only God that can save the country from the precarious position it found herself.

Obi wrote: “With sadness, my heart goes deeply to the Nigerians who lost their lives and those who were maimed for participating in such a simple thing as an election. My prayers and wishes for a quick recovery of the injured.

“My sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. May God Almighty grant them eternal rest, and grant their families the fortitude to bear their sad irreplaceable loss.

“I pray earnestly that God Almighty will save and help Nigeria out of this precarious situation.”
