Nigeria-German Chemicals Plc, Evans Medical Plc Lead List Of Companies Delisted From NGX In 2021

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has listed shares of four firms and delisted shares of seven companies from the Nigeria stock market in 2021.

Data released by the NGX on Wednesday shows there was an increase in the companies listed and delisted from 2020.

The listed companies include Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GT HoldCo), Nigerian Exchange Group, Briclinks Africa Plc, and Ronchess Global Resources Plc.

While the delisted firms are Nigeria-German Chemicals Plc, Roads Nigeria Plc, Unic Diversified Holdings Plc, 11 Plc, Evans Medical Plc, Studio Press Nigeria Plc, Union Diagnostic and Clinical Services Plc.

The NGX stated that four of the companies were delisted due to non-compliance to its regulations while three companies voluntarily delisted.

The three companies that voluntary delisted are 11 Plc, Studio Press Nigeria Plc and Union Diagnostic and Clinical Services Plc while the four firms that were delisted by the NGX are Evans Medical Plc, Nigeria-German Chemicals Plc, Roads Nigeria Plc, and Unic Diversified Holdings Plc.

Recall that 11Plc formerly known as Mobil Oil Plc, voluntarily delisted on May 7, 2021, after it was not willing to acquire shares of its minority shareholders.

The oil company announced its exit from the Nigerian Stock Exchange after 43 years of trading.
