My Son, Denzel Will Play For Super Eagles – Sunday Oliseh
Former Nigerian football manager and player, Sunday Oliseh has disclosed that his son, Denzel, will play for the Super Eagles in the future.
The 48-year-old former Super Eagles coach confirmed this via his Twitter page on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Oliseh was replying to a Twitter user when he assured Denzel would represent Nigeria someday.
Naija News reports that Denzel’s mother is half Belgian and half Moroccan. By this, the youngster is eligible to represent Nigeria and Belgium.
Oliseh had earlier shared a photo of himself and his Wife at the stadium in Qatar as they both watched the Belgium Vs Morocco FIFA World Cup match.
He tweeted: “I finally get an opportunity to watch a world cup match (Morocco vs Belgium) with my best friend, wife and mother of my 2 beautiful kids,Hafi. What a joyful moment as Morocco won for Africa. Bravo le Maroc et allez l’Afrique.”
It was under the tweet that the netizen asked which country his son will play for, and Oliseh replied, “Naija”, accompanied by emojis of thumbs up and prayer.
Naija News understands that Denzel is hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a professional footballer.
