‘My Knee Scattered, It Was A Very Difficult Time For Me’ – Falz Recounts Injury Experience
Nigerian rapper cum actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has recounted the experience of his knee injury and surgery.
Naija News recalls that the political activist, in a post via his Instagram page on May 10, 2023, opened up on the knee injury he sustained whilst playing football in 2022 and had to undergo surgery to fix his knee.
In a recent interview with Cool FM, Falz said the injury resulted from his love for football and active sports participation.
The 32-year-old singer said he underwent anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery due to the severity of the injury.
According to him, his knee was scattered, and he cannot account for how it happened because he has been playing football since he was much younger.
The actor described the period as one of the most challenging times in his life, stressing it is a common injury among athletes.
Asked if he would be undergoing any other surgery, Falz said he is currently undergoing a rehabilitation process, which includes intensive physiotherapy.
During the interview, the rapper also joked about the situation, saying his exceptional skills as a striker led to envy among other players, resulting in their attempt to sabotage him and sideline him from the team.
