MANCHESTER UNITED’S injury crisis worsened against Newcastle as Casemiro picked up another problem.
The Red Devils’ disastrous start to the season continued as they crashed out the Carabao Cup to Newcastle.

Casemiro captained the team last night in his first game back after an ankle injury that he picked up while playing for Brazil two weeks ago.

Ten Hag was asked why Casemiro was subbed off in his post-match press conference, revealing: “He was injured.
“Just before half-time, he got an injury. That’s why we had to take him off.”
United face Fulham on Saturday in the Premier League and Ten Hag was quizzed on how long Casemiro will be sidelined for.
He replied: “I can’t give an answer on that.
“We have to wait 24 hours, but I think definitely for Saturday, he is out.”

Fans were left dejected after the news, one said: “Extremely disappointed.”
Another added: “Just delete the club and move on.”
Man Utd will be hoping he makes a recovery in time for Wednesday’s crucial Champions League tie away at Copenhagen.
