The 2-0 win over Newcastle last weekend secured United’s first trophy since 2017.

Ten Hag’s men now turn their attention to the FA Cup in midweek, having progressed beyond Barcelona to reach the last-16 of the Europa League just a few days prior to the Wembley win.

Dumping Barca out in the fashion they did saw United rocket to the top of the outright market and they’re now just 5/2 for continental success.

They face Real Betis in the next round having gone into this stage of the tournament unseeded, after a second place finish in the group.

They’re currently in third spot and six points behind City in second, though have played a game less.

Having played the same number of games as the Gunners, United are currently eight points behind with 14 games left to play.

That seems the biggest obstacle for them to land what would be an outrageous quad, which was priced at 2500/1 before a ball was kicked last summer.

In total, just 13 punters backed that bet before the season started, with one punter set to bag an unbelievable £62,525 from their £25 bet if it comes in.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “Odds on Man United to win the quadruple have been slashed to 100/1 from 175/1 following their Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle on Sunday.
