MANCHESTER UNITED fans enjoyed Rasmus Hojlund’s brilliant reaction to the Champions League anthem.
Both the Red Devils and Bayern Munich starting XI’s lined up ahead of kick-off as the iconic tune was blasted out inside the Allianz Arena.
Rasmus Hojlund was loving the Champions League music
Hojlund, who was making just his third appearance for Man Utd, was loving every second of it.
As the cameras panned along the players, the Danish striker was seen smiling as he looked around the stadium.
Fans reacted, saying: “Hojlund is loving it.”
Another added: “Love to see it. Such enthusiasm and energy.”
A third commented: “Says everything about how much he wants it and how much he will give for the badge. Heart-warming.”
He played twice for Sturm Graz in last year’s qualifying rounds before joining Atalanta.
He has also had a taste of European football in the Conference League with Copenhagen.
Eventually, Hojlund’s smile was soon wiped off his face by Bayern Munich, who led 2-0 at half-time.
Leroy Sane opened the scoring following a goalkeeping error by Andre Onana.
And then Serge Gnabry found the back of the net to double the Bundesliga side’s lead.
Hojlund then finally had something other than the anthem to be happy about as he scored his first United goal.
