He even averaged an outstanding 106.05.

Littler has taken this year’s tournament by storm, beating Brendan Dolan and his childhood hero Raymond van Barneveld on his way to the final.

His performances have only improved with every match, leaving fans stunned.

Given his success, some darts fanatics have struggled to believe that he is only 16-years-old.

But an image of his birth certificate has emerged on social media – and it confirmed the superstar’s astonishing age.

It shows the wonderkid was born on January 21, 2007 in North Cheshire Hospitals NHS Trust Warrington.

The fact that Littler is only 16 and taking the world of darts by storm has left fans stunned throughout the tournament.

“Generational talent”, “out of this world” and “absolutely ridiculous” are just some of the comments from stunned supporters.

But some have been sceptical that he is indeed 16 years old, even comparing him to a hilarious Inbetweeners sketch with a character called wolfy.

He played a 17-year-old mechanic who did work experience with ‘Will’ – but looked far older than his years.

Littler defeated Cross 6-2 on Tuesday night at the Ally Pally to set up a final against another Luke, Humphries.

Speaking after his scintillating victory, Littler said: “It’s been a crazy ride.

“I’m still standing. I’m in  one  of   the biggest finals in   the world. I was happy winning one game but I could go all the way!

“I have surprised myself. I have thrown big averages on the floor all year around.

“I’m pleased to bring it on the biggest stage of them all.

“It would be beyond unbelievable to win this. I only set my goal to win one game and then come back after Christmas.

“I have to stay composed and get over that line.”

Humphries, meanwhile, battered Scott Williams 6-0 to set up a mothwatering final.
