London Marathon 2025 ballot: How to apply to run in NEXT year’s huge race

THE LONDON Marathon gets underway TODAY in what should be a thrilling race from start to finish.

Around 50,000 runners will take to the streets of the capital for the big 26.2 mile race.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to apply for next year’s race if you fancy it.

How can I apply for the London Marathon 2025?

To enter the ballot to run next year’s London Marathon, you should go to the TCS London Marathon website.

The ballot opened on Saturday, April 20 and will close on Friday, April 26 – so be quick.

When you apply, you will receive a confirmation via email and a payment receipt if you donated your entry fee.

In July you will receive the results of your ballot entry.

If you opt out of donating your entry fee, you need to pay the full £69.99 fee.

International participants will be charged £120, plus a £26 carbon offset levy if they are successful.

What TV channel is showing the London Marathan 2024 and can I live stream it?

The race will again be shown across BBC platforms.

BBC One will begin coverage from 8.30am and then run on the channel until 2.15pm.

It will then switch over to BBC Two until 3pm.

Those who want to live stream the race can do so for FREE on the BBC Sport website and on iPlayer from 1pm until 6pm.
