Kuyt, 43, was in charge of his former club for only 17 games but was only able to orchestrate five wins.

During his poor term in charge, he lost eight games and averaged only 1.12 points per match.

However, it appears that he could now be back in management with Turkish outfit Konyaspor.

Turkish media has claimed that a deal has been agreed between the club and the Dutchman.

It suggests that he could even be in the dugout for the match against Adana Demirspor on Saturday.

Since he retired from playing he has also coached the Feyernoord u19s and been the assistant manager at Quick Boys in the third tier of Dutch football.

Konyaspor currently sit 15th in the Turkish Super Lig having won two of their opening nine league games.

The team does boast some forgotten Premier League stars such as Steven Nzonzi, Nelson Oliveira, and Gokhan Tore.
