Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Just Like He Did To Wike, Atiku Offered Me Running Mate Ticket – Bola Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Atiku Abubakar of attempting to deceive both Christians and Muslims.

In a statement on Saturday by his Media Office signed by Tunde Rahman, Tinubu said Atiku has no business raising the issue of a Muslim-Muslim ticket except as a hypocrite.

Recall that Atiku had, during an interview with Arise TV, condemned Tinubu for picking a Muslim as his running mate for the 2023 election.

Atiku said that he became politically estranged from Tinubu after he presented Ben Obi, a Christian from southern Nigeria, as his vice-presidential candidate in the 2007 election.

2023: Reject Muslim-Muslim Ticket – Senator Suswam Tells Constituents

The Senator representing Benue North-East Senatorial District, Gabriel Suswam has called on his constituents to reject the Muslim-Muslim Presidential ticket put forward by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 elections.

Suswam made the call before the representatives of women, youths elders and traditional rulers on Friday in Adikpo, Kwande local while distributing fertiliser for this year’s farming season.

The immediate past Benue State Governor alleged that the emergence of a Muslim president and Muslim vice president of Nigeria will directly tamper with the diversity and structural balance of the country.

According to him, the choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket by APC represents the height of insensitivity and is a deliberate attempt to sideline Christians from the topmost decision-making hierarchy in the country.

Muslim – Muslim Ticket: Bakare Speaks On Going Against CAN To Endorse Tinubu, Shettima

The General Overseer of Citadel Global Community Church formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, Tunde Bakare has debunked rumours that he endorsed the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a post made on his Facebook page, the clergyman shut down the rumours that he was working against the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on the Muslim-Muslim ticket by Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

Bakare urged Nigerians to disregard the rumours adding that he is a nation builder and would not create diversity amongst the citizenry.

‘Fake Bishops’ – Pastor Enenche Blows Hot, Slams Tinubu, Shettima

Abuja-based Pentecostal preacher, Paul Enenche has reacted to the alleged fake clergyman who attended the unveiling of Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

The presence of the bishops at the unveiling sparked various reactions.

Christian Association of Nigeria and the Nigerian Catholic Church distanced themselves from the persons who appeared in cassocks at the event and described them as impostors.

Speaking at the event at his Dunamis Church headquarters in Abuja, Enenche described the fake clergymen as “criminals”

He said: “You know there is a contest going on in this country right now where some criminals paraded themselves as bishops,”

“That is the level to which the criminal leadership of this country has descended.

The presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has berated the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, for claiming to be part of the founders of the now-defunct Action Congress (AC).

In a statement on Saturday by his Media Office signed by Tunde Rahman, Tinubu said Nigerians should feel great pity and sadness for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The former Lagos State Governor said by Atiku’s desperate attempt to win the election by stoking religious bias, he has reduced himself to uttering baseless lies on national television.

Muslim-Muslim Ticket: APC Candidate Carpets Tinubu/Party

Reactions have continued to trail the Muslim-Muslim ticket adopted by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A chieftain of the ruling APC in Adamawa State, Mr. Vrati Nzonzo has added his voice in condemning the Muslim-Muslim ticket for the Presidential election of his party.

Mr. Vrati speaking to some journalists in Yola, yesterday, said “the decision to adopt a fellow Muslim as running mate by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will have grave consequences for the party, particularly amongst Christians in northern Nigeria.”

Hon. Nzonzo, who is one of the party’s House of Representatives candidates in the forthcoming general election in Adamawa State, vehemently condemned Shettima’s selection, as the Vice Presidential candidate for the party stressing that the choice of Shettima amounted to insulting the sensibilities of Christians in Nigeria.

Tinubu: Uba Sani Speaks On ‘Cold War’ Between Shettima And El-Rufai Over VP Slot

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Sani Uba has debunked reports of any political fight between the party’s vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima and Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

He described the two APC chieftains as brothers, adding that those talking of a rift between them are simply ignorant.

Sani’s clarification follows the rumours of a cold war between El-Rufai and Shettima over the emergence of the former Borno State Governor as the running mate to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for the 2023 presidency on the platform of the APC.

It was reported that El-Rufai was also interested in the VP slot and is therefore not totally happy with the emergence of Shettima.

However, Sani who spoke at an event in Kaduna on Friday, said such thoughts only existed in the imagination of those spreading the rumours.

A former Kannywood actress, Fatti Mohammed has said that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi can only win the 2023 election on social media.

The actress insisted that Nigerians have forgotten that elections are held in polling unit and not on social media.

“Peter Obi can only win elections on Twitter simply because his supporters have knowledge of Twitter forgetting that elections happen in polling units, not in Twitter page,” she wrote.

“Let me Speak with the language that you would understand much better….. Na only for Twitter Peter Obi fii win election not for polling unit. Becox em people Sabi sabi posting on Twitter, forgetting na for polling unit election denhappenappn, not in Twitter page,” she added.

Obi has become an internet sensation after he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to join the LP.

Tinubu: ‘2023 General Election Will Shock PDP’s Atiku Abubakar’

The Tinubu Presidential Campaign Organisation has slammed former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, over comments on the 2023 election.

Naija News reports that Atiku, during an interview on Arise TV, had expressed confidence in winning the 2023 election.

The PDP presidential candidate, who admitted to being friends with Tinubu, noted that they have their political differences.

He accused the former Lagos State Governor of pressuring him to pick a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2007 Presidential election.

Reacting to Atiku’s interview, the Director-General of Asiwaju Tinubu Presidential Campaign Organisation, Adebayo Shittu, told The PUNCH that the former VP would be shocked by the outcome of the 2023 election.
