Lando Norris sheepishly admits he has ‘many girlfriends’ during lie detector test amid links to glam Portuguese model

LANDO NORRIS revealed he has “many girlfriends” amid links to a glamorous Portuguese model.

Norris, who became the 21st Brit to win a Formula One race when he won his first ever F1 race at the Miami Grand Prix, was asked to do a lie detector test before last weekend’s race.

And the McLaren ace was on form as he left fans believing he was a time traveller after declaring he would win a race in 2024 before making it a reality last Sunday.

But his visions of the future were not the only revelation to come out from the test.

Appearing on Sky Sports F1 with a lie detector, Norris was firstly asked whether he had a girlfriend.

The 24-year-old replied: “No,” which came up true on the detector.

Host Simon Lazenby then asked: “Do you have many girlfriends?”

Norris cracked a nervous chuckle at the query before composing himself and answering: “Yes.”

The results of the detector once again revealed he was telling the truth, leaving Lazenby shocked.

Lazenby then remarked: “Formula One drivers, it’s not fair.”

Norris dated Portuguese model Luisa Oliveira from August 2021 to September 2022, but the pair split after she received sickening death threats from trolls taking offence at the relationship.

More recently he has been seen with 21-year-old Margarida Corceiro.

She was seen with Norris at the Monte-carlo Masters tennis last month, while a snap from 2023 saw Norris driving around with the actress, who use to date Barcelona and ex-Chelsea star Joao Felix.

Margarida has 1.8 million followers on Instagram.

Norris and co will be back on track in a weeks time at the Imola Grand Prix.

Fellow Brit Ollie Bearman will make his return to the F1 grid for the first of six practice sessions he will have this season with Haas.

SunSport exclusively linked Bearman with a driver seat at the team following his debut race in Saudi Arabia, and Nico Hulkenberg’s exit appears to have opened the door for the move to happen.

However, Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu has revealed what Bearman needs to do to get a seat in 2025.

He said: “It is a combination; he needs to perform in F2, for sure.

“But when we work with him directly, you understand all the ins and outs, all the environment or the reasoning for certain things happening.

“So yeah, I’d put probably more weight on what we do with him, how he performs in our environment. But of course he needs to perform in F2. That’s clear…

“We’ve got six [FP1] sessions lined up for him, so we will see the first of that in Imola. We are really looking forward to see how we can develop him and how well we can work together.

“I’ve said it many times before, he is very impressive… I have nothing to complain [about]. It’s a very good package [Haas and Bearman].”
