Kwara 2023: Yaman Wins PDP Governorship Ticket
Alhaji Abdullahi Shuaib Yaman has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP primary election in the State Naija News can authoritatively report.
The sorting and counting of the primaries was done in the full glare of the cameras, Journalists, security agents, and officials of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, Yaman polled 518 votes to defeat Hon Ahman Patigi and Prof. Yisa Gana who poll 31 votes and 14 votes respectively
Mr Yaman is an entrepreneur with a stake in the media industry. He had in the past vied for Kwara State governorship and also contested in 2019 primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) where he was defeated by the incumbent governor of the state, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazak.
