Just In: APC Clears Jigawa Gov, Abubakar For Presidential Primary

The All Progressives Congress has cleared the Governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar for its presidential primary on the 6th of June, 2022.

The screening committee of the party led by former National Chairman of APC, John Odigie-Oyegun cleared Badaru on Monday.

The media aide of the governor disclosed that the verification of his membership and financial status as well as his academic credentials, and other requirements for a presidential candidate as stipulated in the Nigerian Constitution were cleared by the committee.

The screening committee would also screen the likes of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawan and former ministers Rotimi Amaechi, Ogbonnaya Onu, Godswill Akpabio, and Chukwuemeja Nwajiuba.
