Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall 2: UK start time, live stream, TV channel for huge grudge rematch in Leeds

JOSH TAYLOR has finally granted Jack Catterall his wish – a massive grudge rematch two years after their first fight.

Taylor and Catterall fought for the undisputed super-lightweight in February 2022, with the former retaining his titles.

The decision was a hugely controversial one, however, as pretty much every fan and pundit watching scored the fight for Catterall, who lost out on a split decision.

The Englishman even knocked Taylor down halfway through the fight, and both men had a point deducted.

Catterall stormed out of the ring after the decision, feeling robbed of his dream to win the undisputed titles.

But now he’ll get his chance for revenge, albeit without the belts on the line, with Taylor having relinquished or lost them since the win over Catterall.

It was originally scheduled for April 27, but an issue with Taylor’s eye pushed the fight back a month.

Expect main event ring-walks to get going at around 10.30pm UK time.

What has been said?

Taylor said: “This is a big fight, there’s a lot hanging in the balance. I’ve had two bad performances, so I need to come back and prove that I’m still one of the best fighters on the planet.

“I need to put on a good performance, and essentially, I need to get the win. If he comes to fight like he says he is, absolutely fantastic.”

Catterall has said: “I’m not going in there for a Taylor that, in my opinion, is on the slide.

“I’m going in there preparing for the best version of him. But do I think his best days are done? I do.”
